Kerakoll EP21 Rapid reactive epoxy primer for floors. It strengthens weak screeds. It seals residual moisture — up to max. 5% CM. The next layer can be applied after 2-3 hours. This is the preparatory primer for tiling, parquet installation, and epoxy screed production.

Substrates: Cement screed, anhydrite screed, mineral screed, screed with underfloor heating — diluted with Keragrip Eco Pulep (max. 15-30%). Slightly absorbent surfaces need to be roughened.
Spaces (floor only): Residential areas, commercial spaces, indoor and outdoor.
Not suitable for: Non-absorbent substrates (marble, ceramic, gres). Substrates exposed to soaking. Waterproofing of underfloor heated cement screed >2% CM. Waterproofing of anhydrite screed >0.5% CM (with underfloor heating >0.2% CM). If the carrier layer is less than 3°C above the dew point. As a standalone surface (without covering or parquet).
Non-absorbent substrate? On ceramic, gres, marble surfaces use Keragrip Eco Pulep adhesion promoter.
What is the difference between EP21 and EP21 Rapid? EP21 Rapid is faster. 2-3 hours waiting time before the next layer, longer for EP21. Works from +10°C — important in winter.
How much is needed per square meter? As surface primer 0.2 kg/m². As deep primer or moisture barrier 0.3-0.4 kg/m². Two layers needed for moisture sealing.
How long is the drying time? 2-3 hours before the next work phase. 1-2 hours between layers. Pot life after mixing approx. 10 minutes — work quickly.
Is it suitable for underfloor heating? Yes. For priming and moisture sealing. For moisture sealing: max. 2% CM for cement screed, max. 0.2% CM for anhydrite screed.
Can it be applied on tiles? No. Only for absorbent substrates. For tiles, gres, marble use Keragrip Eco Pulep.
When should quartz sand be sprinkled? If the substrate fully absorbs the material. Always with one-component reactive adhesives. Sprinkle Quarzo 5.12 on the still fresh surface.
How to mix? Part A + Part B in 2:1 ratio. Use an electric mixer at 300-600 rpm. Mix until uniform.
I am applying self-leveling compound on it. What is needed before? Two options: (1) on dried EP21 Rapid use Active Prime Fix or Active Prime Grip, or (2) sprinkle Quarzo 5.12 on the still fresh last layer.

Our online store is open 24/7 and ships Monday through Friday, except for some holidays. Orders received for products without delivery restrictions on the product page will be delivered within 1-3 days if received before 12:00 p.m. In the case of orders placed for products in the suppliers' warehouses, the expected availability time is indicated on the product page, and we deliver according to the indicated time.
In order to provide the best service, we try to keep a stock of the most popular products in our warehouse in Budapest. Such products are labeled "In Stock". These can be collected or delivered within 1-3 days.
All other products must be shipped from the supplier's warehouses. This can take 1-4 weeks (it depends on the manufacturer; please confirm the delivery time with our customer service before ordering). Such products are either marked "In Stock" or require a pre-order together with a request for a quote.

Products available in our warehouse are delivered within 1-3 days.
Products not available in our warehouse are first shipped from the manufacturer’s warehouse to our warehouse, and then from there to you. Shipping from the manufacturer’s warehouse may take 1-2 weeks.
