The adhesive-sealant serves two functions at once: it bonds and seals. This is not a compromise — but the result of modern MS polymer and SMP (silane-modified polymer) technology, which is flexible enough to seal moving joints and strong enough to mechanically fix elements.
MS polymer (also known as SMP — silane-modified polymer) adhesive-sealant is neither acrylic, silicone, nor polyurethane — it is a distinct material family whose main advantages are: isocyanate-free (unlike PU), paintable (unlike silicone), and has excellent adhesion to many materials without primer.
For bonding and sealing mixed-material joints simultaneously: where wood, metal, concrete, ceramic, glass, and plastic elements meet, and the joint needs to be both mechanically strong and able to absorb movement.
For facade and outdoor joints: where weather resistance, UV stability, and movement tolerance are all required. When combined with siloxane primer, it can also be used for stone cladding joints.
For indoor multi-material joints: parquet edging, bonding wooden elements to walls, fixing electrical components, where a uniform appearance with paint is needed.
Parquet adhesive-sealant: Some MS polymer adhesive-sealants can also be used as parquet adhesives on smaller surfaces — the material has both flexibility and bonding strength.

The Kerakoll Color Collection is an integrated project that includes innovative materials - resin, cement, handcrafted wood, microcoatings, paints, and glazes - coordinated on a single color palette.
