Brushable resin and hybrid waterproofing systems are among the most versatile solutions in modern building waterproofing: they are applied in liquid form and, after curing, form a uniform, joint-free membrane. There are no seams, no joints, no overlapping gaps — the most vulnerable points of traditional sheet and foil waterproofing.
Brushable resin waterproofing systems include:
PU (polyurethane) based membrane: A flexible, vapor-permeable, one-component or two-component system. Suitable for terraces, balconies, under flat roofs, and wet rooms. The UV-stable version can be used outdoors without a topcoat.
PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate) based membrane: A two-component system that cures extremely fast — solidifying within minutes, allowing application even in cold and humid conditions. Commonly used for flat roofs, parking lots, and industrial floor waterproofing.
Hybrid brushable waterproofing: Combined systems of PU and cement, or resin and cement, which combine flexibility with the adhesion strength of cement-based materials. Suitable for waterproofing both tiled and untiled wet rooms, terraces, and balconies.
On complex geometries: Around corners, curves, drains, penetrations, and details, the brushable membrane can be applied flawlessly — where sheet or foil waterproofing presents jointing challenges.
For fast installation: PMMA systems allow the substrate to be tiled within minutes — no daytime work breaks are needed.
As a non-demolition solution: Some brushable systems can be applied directly over existing solid but non-leaking coverings, eliminating the need for demolition.
