A Kerakoll Cementoresina 2 is a tinted, two-component finishing layer for floors. Cementoresina 1 forms the structure — Cementoresina 2 highlights, decorates, and colors it. Applied with a trowel, waves, marbling, and material vibrations become visible. In the standard system, a protective layer of Cementoresina Gel follows. In the R11 system (anti-slip), this remains the final surface. This is the Cementoresina microcement floor system color layer.

How is the Cementoresina texture created?
Trowel 2 is used to smooth it — with small radius, circular movements. The tool marks remain. The protective layer (Cementoresina Gel) fixes it but the texture shows through.

Why is it two-component?
The two-component structure ensures precise bonding. Part A is the tinted mass. Part B activates it — only a small amount is mixed before use, with controlled speed and mixing time. This way, the bonding is precisely regulated, and the texture is uniform.

Can it be used alone?
It depends on the system. In the Cementoresina system (smooth floor), Cementoresina Gel protective layer follows Cementoresina 2. In the Cementoresina R11 system (anti-slip floor), Cementoresina 2 remains the final surface — the texture ensures slip resistance, no protective layer is applied.

What is the material requirement?
0.5 kg/m² — applied in a thin layer, smoothed very thinly with a trowel. ≈ 0.5 mm thickness.

Is it sold separately?
No. This product is only available as part of the Cementoresina system — in quantities of 6 or 10 m², with the complete system. If you are repairing an existing Cementoresina surface, request a quote for the necessary layers.

How long does it take to complete?
After application, ≈ 10 hours waiting (+20°C), then sanding. After that, the Cementoresina Gel protective layer follows (2 layers). Complete system: ≈ 5-6 days.

How does it differ from Cementoresina 1? 
Cementoresina 1 primes the structure and the stress-distributing layer. Cementoresina 2 highlights the texture and provides the final decorative surface. Together they create the handcrafted marbling.
