Kerakoll EP21 is a transparent, two-component reactive primer for absorbent floor substrates. It penetrates, hardens, and becomes waterproof — protects up to 5% CM moisture content. Suitable under parquet, for Cementoresina systems, and for strengthening weak substrates. This is the primer for Kerakoll’s floor and resin systems.

Substrates: Cement screed, anhydrite screed, mineral screeds, underfloor heated substrates — with Keragrip Eco Pulep thinner (max 30%)
Spaces (floor only): Residential areas, offices, shops, restaurants. Wet areas (bathroom, kitchen) under parquet.
Not suitable for: Non-absorbent substrates (marble, ceramic, glass mosaic). Surfaces exposed to soaking. Waterproofing of underfloor heated cement screed above 2% CM, anhydrite above 0.5% CM (above 0.2% for underfloor heating). As a standalone surface.
What is EP21 for?
Primer and waterproofing in one. Strengthens weak substrates, protects against moisture under parquet. First layer for Cementoresina and resin floor systems.
Is a primer needed under parquet?
Yes, on absorbent substrates. EP21 strengthens the substrate and protects the parquet from residual moisture — up to 5% CM.
Can parquet be installed on a damp substrate?
Yes, up to 5% CM moisture content if EP21 waterproofing is used (2 layers). Stricter limits for underfloor heating: cement max 2% CM, anhydrite max 0.5% CM.
On what substrates can it be applied?
Only on absorbent substrates: cement screed, anhydrite screed, mineral bases. Not on ceramic, marble, glass mosaic — for those use Keragrip Eco Pulep.
Does it need to be diluted?
Yes. With Keragrip Eco Pulep according to substrate absorbency: up to 15% for surface priming, up to 30% for deep priming or waterproofing.
How to mix?
In a 2.5:1 ratio (Part A : Part B). Mix evenly with an electric mixer (300–600 rpm).
How long before the next layer?
4 hours. Wait 4–12 hours between layers.
Is it suitable for underfloor heating?
Yes, suitable for reinforcement and priming. Not for waterproofing — moisture limits are stricter for underfloor heated screeds.
EP21 or Keragrip Eco Pulep?
EP21 is for absorbent substrates — it strengthens and waterproofs. Keragrip Eco Pulep provides adhesion on non-absorbent surfaces (ceramic, glass mosaic). They serve different purposes.

Our online store is open 24/7 and ships Monday through Friday, except for some holidays. Orders received for products without delivery restrictions on the product page will be delivered within 1-3 days if received before 12:00 p.m. In the case of orders placed for products in the suppliers' warehouses, the expected availability time is indicated on the product page, and we deliver according to the indicated time.
In order to provide the best service, we try to keep a stock of the most popular products in our warehouse in Budapest. Such products are labeled "In Stock". These can be collected or delivered within 1-3 days.
All other products must be shipped from the supplier's warehouses. This can take 1-4 weeks (it depends on the manufacturer; please confirm the delivery time with our customer service before ordering). Such products are either marked "In Stock" or require a pre-order together with a request for a quote.
All prices include VAT.
Products available in our warehouse are delivered within 1-3 days.
Products not available in our warehouse are first shipped from the manufacturer’s warehouse to our warehouse, and then from there to you. Shipping from the manufacturer’s warehouse may take 1-2 weeks.
