Decoration of reinforced concrete facade elements

The monolithic restoration carried out using Geolite 40 and Geolite Microsilicato is not sensitive to the effects of carbon dioxide and permanently protects the concrete against the penetration of rainwater and aggressive substances.

Geolite is the first geo-mortar to meet the R4 classification requirements of the EN 1504-3 standard. This product:

• Passivates steel in accordance with EN 1504-7,
• Is recommended for volume reconstruction in accordance with EN 1504-3,
• Can be used for surface protection in accordance with EN 1504-2,
• And can be used to anchor metal elements in accordance with EN 1504-6.

Monolithic restoration that meets the performance requirements of the EN 1504 standards provides a lasting solution and is no longer the weakest point of the structure. The characteristic durability of mineral stone remains unchanged over the long term.

All restored and unrestored concrete surfaces can be renovated and protected with Geolite Microsilicato, which can be applied as soon as 4 hours after restoration (using Geolite 10 or Geolite 40).
