Structural base layer for Cementoresina flooring
Kerakoll Floorzero is a grayish-green structural base layer applied with a trowel on floors. It flexibly coats the existing substrate — ceramic, concrete, marble — fills joints and gaps, and cushions impacts. The Cementoresina texture layers are built on this. It can also be applied for waterproofing. This is the "zero layer" of the Cementoresina system — the durable, flexible structural base.

What is it for?
The structural base layer of the Cementoresina floor system. It flexibly coats the existing substrate, fills joints, cushions impacts. The colored Cementoresina layers are built on this.
Can it be applied on tiles?
Yes, with Keragrip Eco Pulep adhesion promoter. It fills joints and provides an even base for the Cementoresina layers.
Is it compatible with underfloor heating?
Yes, suitable according to EN 1903. Substrate moisture: cement-based max 1.7 CM%, anhydrite max 0.2 CM%.
Is it sold separately?
Yes, always purchased separately. Cementoresina packages DO NOT include it. You need to buy separately: Floorzero + Net 90 mesh + Quarzo 1.3 + primer.
How long does it take to dry?
Walkable after 6 hours (+20 °C) or 18 hours (+10 °C). Next layer can be applied after 48 hours.
Why is the Net 90 mesh necessary?
Structural reinforcement. Without the mesh, cracks spread further and certification is invalid. It is mandatory.
What is Quarzo 1.3 for?
Mechanical grip. Quartz grains embed — Cementoresina layers adhere to this. Without it, layer adhesion is poor.
Can it be applied over Aquastop waterproofing?
Yes. Sand with 120 grit paper, moisten with Keragrip Eco Pulep cloth, wait 10 minutes. Apply Floorzero.
Can I apply it myself?
Yes, but expertise is required. Embedding Net 90, sealing joints, even thickness, Quarzo scattering — all critical. Without experience, leave it to a professional.

On existing tiles, gres: Grind with a diamond disc. Outline and cut out grout, hairline cracks, and cracks with a disc grinder. Vacuum. Keragrip Eco Pulep: moisten the entire surface with a cloth, let the solvent evaporate (30 minutes). Apply Floorzero.
On cement plaster, self-leveling screed: Grind with a diamond disc or carborundum disc. Outline and cut out grout, hairline cracks, and cracks. Vacuum. EP21 primer with a roller, 0.2 l/m². Wait until absorbed, then apply Floorzero.
On anhydrite screed: Grind and clean with mechanical suction. EP21 + Keragrip Eco Pulep 30% mixture with a roller, 0.1–0.2 l/m². Wait 6 hours, then apply a second layer of pure EP21, 0.2 l/m². Wait until absorbed, then apply Floorzero.
For waterproofing (Aquastop products): Lightly sand with 120 grit sandpaper. Vacuum. Keragrip Eco Pulep: moisten the surface with a cloth, let evaporate (10 minutes). Apply Floorzero.
Preparation of joints: Separation/edge joint: cut edge tape at floor level, seal. Moisten with EP21 with a brush. Fractional joint: cut 4–6 mm deep with a disc grinder, moisten with EP21. Expansion/construction joint: cut 4–6 mm deep, moisten with EP21. These must be grouted and sealed with Floorzero mixture containing 3–5% Addensante.
Application: Mix parts A and B in a 9.25:0.75 ratio with a screw mixer at 400 rpm. Spread Net 90 fiberglass mesh over the entire surface, edges side by side. Smooth Floorzero with a trowel so that the mesh is completely covered, 2.5 kg/m². Sprinkle Quarzo 1.3 product until saturation, 2 kg/m². Wait 6–18 hours, then apply the next layer (Cementoresina 1).
