Kerakoll Wallcrete – system component

The Kerakoll Wallcrete gray base layer applied with a trowel on the wall. Tool marks remain — this creates the texture. Decor Paint is applied on top, the pattern shows through. Can also be applied on tiles. This is the base of Wallcrete and Wallcrete Living systems.

Can Wallcrete be applied on tiles?
Yes. Prepared with Keragrip Eco Pulep adhesion promoter. 3 layers are needed — the first fills the joints, the others cover the tiles.

Is a primer needed under Wallcrete?
Yes. For plaster, drywall: Universal Wall Primer. For tiles: Keragrip Eco Pulep. For MDF in wet areas: EP21.

Do you need to paint Wallcrete?
Yes. Wallcrete is gray — the Decor Paint provides the color. Not a finished surface on its own.

Can it be used in bathrooms?
Yes. A complete system is required: waterproofing (Aquastop) + Wallcrete + Decor + Microresina Xtreme Invisible.

What is the difference between the Wallcrete and Wallcrete Living systems?
Same base layer, different finishing layer. Wallcrete Living (dry areas): finished with Decor paint. Wallcrete (bathroom, kitchen): Decor + Microresina Xtreme Invisible — this makes it waterproof.

How much Wallcrete is needed per square meter?
Smooth wall: 2 kg/m² (2 layers). On tiles: 3 kg/m² (3 layers).

Cheaper than replacing the floor?
Yes. No demolition, debris, new material, or laying. Sanding and recoloring. Typically 50–70% cheaper than replacement.

How long does it take to dry?
3–12 hours between layers. Slower with poor ventilation or high humidity.

What is the difference between Wallcrete Living and Patina Living?
The texture. With Wallcrete, the trowel marks are visible—a rustic, handcrafted effect. Patina provides a smooth, velvety surface. Different aesthetics, both part of the Color Collection.
