Is the plasterboard joint showing through the fresh paint? A line or edge appears along the joint. Its creamy, highly adhesive consistency smooths without overlap marks. It dries quickly and can be sanded quickly - up to a Q1-Q3 surface quality level. It fills joints, smooths surfaces and bonds boards: one product for plasterboard. Jointing and smoothing: Plasterboard joints (with mesh or microperforated paper tape), Q1-Q3 surface quality levels, plasterboard skim coat (the wall's finishing layer).

Why is the drywall joint visible after painting?
Because the joint filler does not adhere well or leaves a ridge. A creamy, well-adhering joint filler is needed, together with mesh or paper tape. After two skim coats, the joint disappears beneath the paint.
What does the Q1-Q3 surface level mean?
The levels of drywall surface smoothness. Q1 is basic jointing, while Q3 is enhanced smoothness. Biogesso Stucco covers all three levels.
What does mangiaVOC mean?
Biogesso absorbs formaldehyde from indoor air. Formaldehyde is the main indoor volatile organic compound (VOC). Biogesso converts it into a neutral (inert) compound (Eurofins report).
Is joint reinforcement tape needed for jointing?
Yes. The joints between boards must be reinforced with mesh or microperforated paper tape. Then apply two coats of skim coat.
Is it also suitable for bonding drywall?
Yes, on absorbent surfaces. Apply in dabs, with continuous strips around the perimeter, or with a notched trowel for full coverage. The board must be adjusted immediately - it cannot be adjusted once setting has begun.
How much joint filler do I need, and how long is it workable?
For skim coating, approximately 1 kg/m² per millimetre; a 5 kg bag covers approximately 5 m² at 1 mm. The mixed material remains workable for at least 40 minutes.
What is the difference between Stucco and Rasa&Decora?
Stucco is for drywall: it fills joints, provides a skim coat beneath paint, and bonds boards. Rasa&Decora smooths any plastered wall over its entire surface and creates a decorative finish without painting. Rasa&Decora is also required for a decorative wall on drywall. When should I not use it?
Not outdoors or in joints without reinforcement. Do not use it on loose or greasy substrates either. Do not remix material that has already started to set with water.
Can I apply it myself?
Yes, for minor jointing and repairs - the compound is lump-free and easy to work with. For larger drywall areas and a Q3 finish, we recommend a professional. We also undertake the installation.

Substrate preparation: A solid, dry, clean, dust-free and grease-free surface. Remove friable material, gypsum residue and old paint. The boards must be securely fixed to the substrate. For friable surfaces: Rasobuild Eco Consolidante.
Mixing: Sprinkle the powder evenly into a container of clean water (≈ 3.5 l / 5 kg) until a small dry mound forms. After resting for a few minutes, mix at low speed until smooth and lump-free - without adding more powder. Do not remix the binding material with water. Pot life ≥ 40 minutes.
Jointing and smoothing: Reinforce the joint with mesh or microperforated paper tape. Apply the first layer using a stainless steel or plastic trowel with rounded edges and firm pressure - this ensures adhesion and expels the air. Then apply two smoothing coats to achieve the desired surface. Max. 3 mm per coat.
As an adhesive: Apply in dabs, in continuous perimeter strips with dabs in the centre, or with full coverage using a notched trowel. Press the board firmly into place. Adjust only immediately, while the adhesive is fresh.
Conditions: Between +5 °C and +30 °C, at constant temperature and humidity (so that the boards do not expand). Protect from direct sunlight, frost and draughts.

Our online store is open 24/7 and ships Monday through Friday, except for some holidays. Orders received for products without delivery restrictions on the product page will be delivered within 1-3 days if received before 12:00 p.m. In the case of orders placed for products in the suppliers' warehouses, the expected availability time is indicated on the product page, and we deliver according to the indicated time.
In order to provide the best service, we try to keep a stock of the most popular products in our warehouse in Budapest. Such products are labeled "In Stock". These can be collected or delivered within 1-3 days.
All other products must be shipped from the supplier's warehouses.
