Nagy szilárdságú esztrich mikrocement padló alá
Planning a microcement floor and concerned about the substrate? A stable, strong screed is needed beneath the seamless coating. Keracem Prontoplus is a fibre-reinforced, CT-C60-F7-class ready-mixed screed. Parquet, resilient and resin flooring can be installed on it after just 3 days. Ceramic after 24 hours. This is Kerakoll Keracem Prontoplus.
| Type | Screed; fibre-reinforced ready-mixed mineral screed for bonded floor coverings (interior and exterior) |

Screed: Bonded screed (bonded directly to concrete) 20-80 mm; floating screed (laid on a membrane or insulation) 40-80 mm; underfloor heating.
Floor coverings (with adhesive): continuous Cementoresina flooring; parquet, PVC, linoleum, rubber, textile, cork - for residential, commercial, industrial and sports applications; porcelain stoneware and ceramic tiles in all sizes, clinker, terracotta, mosaic; natural stone, cast stone, marble.
Substrates: Prefabricated or cast-in-place concrete slabs and beds; lightweight cement screed; thermal and acoustic insulation panels.
Areas: Indoors and outdoors — homes, shops, showrooms, offices and industrial areas; surfaces exposed to frost and significant temperature fluctuations as well.
Not suitable:
The screeds belong to the self-levelling compounds and screeds category. All five are mineral, fast-drying screeds for bonded coverings. The differences are strength, installation time and application area.
| Product | Strength | Ceramic tiles / parquet (5 cm) | Walkable | Where |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Massetto Premix | CT-C16-F4 | ≈ 24 hours / ≈ 7 days | ≈ 8 hours | Indoors and outdoors |

*Keracem: 28-day compressive strength at dosages of 200 and 250 kg/m³, respectively. All times at +20 °C and 65% relative humidity.
Common to all: mineral, fast-drying screed for bonded coverings; also suitable for underfloor heating; EC 1 plus and A+ indoor emissions; moisture measurement only with the CM method.
Which screed do you need?
Layer build-up for Keracem Prontoplus screed:
| Step | Product | Application |
|---|---|---|
| Perimeter joint | Tapetex | ≈ 8–10 mm strip along walls and columns, across the full screed height |
| Under bonded screed | Keraplast P6 or Keraplast 337 + cement + water | bonding bridge, fresh-on-fresh |
| Beneath floating screed | PE or PVC film | vapor barrier, min. 20 cm overlap |
| Screed | Keracem Prontoplus - this product | 20–80 mm |
| Flooring | Cementoresina, parquet, resilient or ceramic flooring | 3 days, or 24 hours for ceramic tiles (5 cm) |
What type of screed is needed beneath a microcement floor?
High-strength, dimensionally stable screed. Kerakoll recommends fiber-reinforced Keracem Prontoplus beneath seamless Cementoresina floors. As a resin flooring, Cementoresina can be installed on a 5 cm layer after ≈ 3 days.
How long before parquet can be installed on the screed?
On 5 cm thick Prontoplus screed, parquet and resilient flooring can be installed after ≈ 3 days, and ceramic tiles after ≈ 24 hours. These times apply at +20 °C and 65% humidity. CM measurement is required beforehand.
Are expansion joints also needed in the screed beneath microcement?
Yes, joints must be created in the screed: max. 50 m² indoors (8 m), 40 m² with underfloor heating. The microcement system must be designed accordingly - we can help with this.
What does CT-C60-F7 mean?
CT means cementitious screed according to EN 13813. C60 means a compressive strength of at least 60 N/mm², and F7 means a flexural strength of at least 7 N/mm². This is the highest class in the range.
Is it suitable for underfloor heating?
Yes, its thermal conductivity is 1.54 W/(m K). Heating may be started at least 5 days after laying. First for 3 days at +20–25 °C, then for at least 4 days at the planned maximum (EN 1264-4).
How much screed is needed per 1 m²?
≈ 16–18 kg per centimeter. For a 5 cm thick screed: ≈ 80–90 kg/m², or 3.2–3.6 bags.
What is the difference between Keracem Prontoplus and Pronto?
Prontoplus is fiber-reinforced and stronger: CT-C60-F7 instead of C30-F6. Parquet can be installed after 3 days, not 5. Keracem Pronto is a general-purpose flooring screed, particularly for underfloor heating.
How should I measure the screed's moisture content?
Only with a calcium carbide (CM) meter. An electrical moisture meter gives fluctuating, unreliable readings with this screed.
When should I not use it?
Not on deformable substrates without flexural calculations or without expansion joints. Nor as a bonded screed on incompletely cured concrete. Do not mix in any other binder, filler, colorant or additive.
Can I apply it myself?
Product designed for professionals. Screed rails, thorough compaction and precise expansion joints are required - especially beneath microcement. We also install the screed and Cementoresina flooring.
- Inorganic, mineral based
- Preparation of base surfaces
Substrate: Dimensionally stable, dry, crack-free, dust-free, free from rising damp, load-bearing surface. Along all vertical elements, an approximately 8–10 mm Tapetex edge strip is required over the full screed height. Tapetex An edge strip is required over the full screed height.
Bonded screed (20–80 mm): For thicknesses below 40 mm or variable thicknesses, Ø 2 mm welded mesh with 50×50 mm openings is placed between the lower third and the middle of the thickness. Bonding slurry: 2.5 parts 32.5/42.5 cement, 1 part Keraplast Eco P6 or 1 part Keraplast Eco 337, 1 part water, applied to the pre-dampened substrate. The screed is applied fresh-on-fresh. Keraplast Eco P6 or Keraplast Eco 337Floating screed (40–80 mm):
PE or PVC film as a vapour barrier, with a minimum 20 cm overlap and turned up against the walls to the full thickness. On insulation panels, the thickness and reinforcement must be designed according to the panel’s deformation class. Mixing:
Clean water only, approximately 1.7 l / 25 kg. Concrete mixer or, ideally, a pneumatic screed pump. Mix to a semi-dry, compact consistency, without standing water. Pneumatic pump: 260 l hopper - 13–15 bags and approximately 22–26 l water. Pot life ≥ 2 hours. Placement:
Set level strips, fill, compact immediately, then screed off. For thick layers, compact each layer separately. Wetting and steel-trowel smoothing forms a sealed crust - slows drying and impairs adhesion of the adhesive. Joints:
Cut movement joints to approximately 1/3 of the thickness, including at doorways and changes in dimensions. Indoors, max. 50 m² (8 m); with underfloor heating, 40 m²; outdoors, max. 35 m² (6 m). Curing:
The screed must not be wetted. During the first 24 hours, protect it from direct sunlight and drafts. Application between +5 °C and +35 °C; use warm mixing water in cold conditions and cold mixing water in warm conditions, and keep the bags in the shade. Before tiling:
Before parquet and resilient flooring, measure moisture using the CM method. Parketta és rugalmas burkolat előtt CM-módszeres nedvességmérés.
