Cement grout absorbs water. It turns white and loses its colour. Fugabella Color is different. A resin-cement hybrid: the resin repels water, so the colour stays true. Ready to use immediately without resting — one grouting operation, not two. And 50 shades, with the same colours available in grout, epoxy and silicone. This is Kerakoll Fugabella Color.
-
One colour from wall to silicone: 50 shades in grout, epoxy and silicone with the same code — the grout and movement joint match perfectly, with no colour variation
-
Uniform, deep colour from day one: homogeneous colour formula — does not become patchy or fade during drying
-
Wet areas, outdoors, façades: water-repellent surface, ≤1 g water absorption after 240 minutes (CG2 WA) — water rolls off, helping to prevent efflorescence
-
Kitchens, bathrooms, communal areas: naturally resistant to bacteria and mould (ISO 846:2019 A/B/C) — can be disinfected and is easy to keep clean
-
One grout for almost anywhere: floors, walls, outdoors, pools, underfloor heating, boats — withstands frost, intensive traffic and temperature fluctuations from -40 to +90 °C
-
For wood and moving substrates too: can be made flexible with Fugaflex Eco latex — reduces the modulus of elasticity while increasing adhesion and water resistance
-
Proven outdoor colour stability: CATAS tested colour ageing — 48 shades rated 4–5 GSc, suitable for interior and exterior use
-
Heavy traffic, industrial loads: ≥30 N/mm² compressive strength and ≥5 N/mm² flexural strength, ≤1000 mm³ abrasion — does not crumble or wear away
-
Fast application: ready to use immediately without resting, walkable after ~3 hours — less downtime on site

Frequently asked questions
Why does the grout turn white and lose its colour?
Because traditional cement grout absorbs water. The water brings salts to the surface, causing the colour to become lighter and mottled. Fugabella Color is a resin-cement hybrid: the resin repels water, keeping the colour even.
What does “one colour—three products” mean?
The same 50 shades are available in grout, epoxy, and silicone. The colour codes of Fugabella Color, Fugalite Color epoxy, and Silicone Color match. This keeps the grout and movement joint exactly the same colour.
Can the grout be used in swimming pools?
Yes, it can also be used in swimming pools, bathrooms, and fountains. For swimming pools, the waiting time before use is approximately 3 days. For pools, check the type of water and the planned water treatment.
Is the grout colourfast outdoors?
Yes, CATAS has tested the outdoor colour ageing. The 48 shades have a colour fastness rating of 4–5 GSc and are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. KK 30 and KK 114 have a rating of 3.5—we recommend using these indoors.
Is it also suitable for natural stone and marble?
Yes, it can also be used with natural stone, marble, and mosaics. For highly microporous or strongly contrasting tiles, test it first on a concealed area. For delicate stone, protecting the surface before grouting is recommended.
When is Fugaflex Eco needed for the grout?
In special cases when extra flexibility is needed: on timber floors, substrates exposed to significant thermal expansion, or when sanding follows grouting. Replace part of the mixing water with Fugaflex Eco latex—the bond strength and water resistance will increase. (Fugaflex Eco is a separate product; contact us for availability.)
Do you need Fugabella Color or Fugalite Color epoxy?
For general ceramic tile, stone and mosaic installations, Fugabella Color is the right choice. If complete water repellency, industrial-grade chemical resistance or laboratory-level hygiene is required, choose the epoxy Fugalite Color. Industrial kitchens, laboratories and aggressive chemicals: epoxy.
Can I grout it myself?
The manufacturer primarily intended it for professionals, but you can apply it yourself on smaller areas. Fugabella Color can be applied immediately, without resting, using a hard-rubber float. The joint must be clean and dry; work diagonally and remove excess immediately. If you would rather leave it to a professional, Masterworks also offers grouting services.
When should I NOT use this grout?
Do not use it for joints wider than 20 mm or for expansion or movement joints. Do not use it where complete water repellency or special chemical resistance is required. It may stain on damp substrates or substrates prone to moisture penetration.
How much grout do I need?
The quantity depends on the tile size and grout width. Example: 60×60 cm porcelain tile with a 3 mm joint ≈ 190 g/m². For the exact quantity, see the consumption table under Technical data.
